Infants Program

Infant groups are unique in all Early Childhood Education

groups. Infants develop and, and we have to quickly

adapt to an infant’s developmental needs.

Our teachers possess a precise knowledge of:

(a)   How infants develop along a continuum,

(b)   Health and Safety best practices,

(c)    And how best to communicate with
        parents about their growing child.

It is our philosophy that providing adequate
care for an infant goes beyond addressing
physical needs. Our goal is to provide an
environment that is nurturing and intellectually
stimulating to the infants in our care. All our
infants engage in daily activities that promote
motor skills and cognitive development.

Our infant classes engage in daily routines that help
young infants feel secure with their environments.
Our infant schedules address each infant’s physical and
developmental needs. We allow adequate tie for infants
to engage routines such as:

  Hellos and goodbyes

  Diapering and toileting

  Eating and mealtimes

  Sleeping and nap-time

  Dressing

In addition to providing routine care, we plan experiences that promote children’s development and learning through sensory stimulation. These experiences include:

  Playing with toys

  Enjoying stories and books

  Connecting with music and movement

  Creating art

Tasting food and developing their palate

  Exploring various textures and fabrics

  Exploring the outdoors

Our program is equipped with staff and amenities to help your infant feel safe and secure. All infant rooms have breastfeeding stations for nursing mothers.

Toddler and Two

Our program utilizes the Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers, and Twos as the foundation of teaching pedagogy. Our central philosophy of education is that learning is a process, and children learn best by actively engaging with their environment.

Our Toddler and Two programs focus on creating a rich learning environment by stimulating children with hands-on activities. Our program includes access to on-site music, dance, and physical fitness programs.

In addition to our on-site educational experiences, we provide children in our program with opportunities to link in-class learning activities to their community. Your child will participate in community outings, which include trips to the zoo, aquarium, and local farm.

Pre-School (3-5)

Our preschool program utilizes a Creative Curriculum for Preschool as the foundation for implementing a well-rounded program that focuses on content mastery. Our program focuses on child-specific needs and will create an educational program that best supports your child’s needs.

Our small class sizes and experienced teaching staff create an atmosphere for developmental enrichment. Your child will participate in a program that addresses all developmental domains. Our teachers have mastered ways to integrate objectives into all classroom activities.
This method of teaching ensures that lessons are geared toward your child’s interest and learning style.
